Hi,
I use a software program called Chief Architect to produce 3D models of
homes I design. Chief has a built in rendering engine, that works pretty
well, but I would really like to be able to render my 3D models in povray.
A Chief render can be exported as a 3D DXF or DWG file, which are
essentially text files, but for the life of me.......after that I'm LOST. O
they can be exported as a bitmap file, or Windows Metafile.
Can these 3D DXF/DWG files be used in POV Ray? Can the bitmap/metafiles be
used and/or converted for use?
I am attaching a sample rendering of a file that I would like to bring into
POV Ray.
I have downloaded POV 3.5, installed it, look through most of the included
files, rendered those images, read through "some" of the help sections, but
I still can't find anything specific to help me.
Thanks in Advance For Your Help.
